Itinerary
Depart early morning for a scenic coach trip through the hills and farmland, and along the coast to Cape Jervis, connecting with SeaLink’s fast and comfortable ferry “Sealion 2000” for the short 45 minute cruise to Kangaroo Island.
Your day of discovery begins with a visit to Seal Bay, where you can walk with a Parks Ranger amongst a wild colony of rare and endangered sea-lions resting on the beach after their long fishing expeditions. Discover the Island’s renowned park, Flinders Chase National Park, a sanctuary for numerous native Australian animals including kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, echidnas and Cape Barren Geese.
On the most southern tip of Flinders Chase National Park is Remarkable Rocks and Admiral’s Arch, both providing great photographic opportunities. Remarkable Rocks is truly remarkable in size and shape offering spectacular sea views. At Admiral’s Arch with its rugged coastal scenery look for fur seals frolicking in the waters below. We then commence our journey back to Penneshaw, for the return ferry and coach transfer to Adelaide. (Passengers returning to Adelaide by air, will be transferred to Kingscote Airport for the flight to Adelaide)
