The Darwin <> Broome 9 Day 4WD tour

This tour has unique temperature, activity, and operational considerations not experienced elsewhere in Australia. The Kimberley is one of the most isolated, remote places in the world. It doesn't have the usual comforts and options of our other touring areas. We think this lack of conveniences is the REAL reason to visit this area and is what makes it so special and memorable for a lifetime. This tour is suitable only for FIT AND ACTIVE people. Most people traveling on this trip are aged 18-50. It is not suitable for children.

Adventure Tours reserves the right to assess the fitness capability of passengers prior to tour departure. Tour is not suitable for children. Due to the remote nature of the Kimberley region we use bush camps with limited facilities on some nights.

Do you meet our criteria?

    * I can hike 5-9kms a day over uneven terrain un-aided
    * I am prepared and able to walk in high temperatures and humidity - up to and more than 35 degrees Centigrade and 90% humidity everyday.

General Conditions for this touring region

• Luggage must be kept to a MAXIMUM OF 15 KGS (except KAKADU tours which are MAXIMUM 10KGS) in a backpack or soft overnight bag with a small day pack for easy access to camera, film, sun block etc. It is recommended to plan ahead and arrange to store bulky items at pre-tour accommodation. We recommend that items of value, including electronic items should not be carried on tour, and liability and risk is with the owner. We will attempt to carry excess luggage where we can, however on occasion we will require excess luggage to be freighted to your destination at own cost. One week’s notice is required for excess luggage arrangements.

• Breakfast in Broome is not included with upgrade accommodation and upgrade accommodation is available on a request only basis.

• Tour is not suitable for children under 16.

• Tour is operated on a code-share basis with Western Xposure.

• Itineraries may vary and/or attractions be substituted due to seasonal conditions, weather extremes, Traditional Owner and national park requirements.

• Safaris must be reconfirmed by 4pm the day before travel.
