It\u2019s hard to find a country that has everything, but through my time spent on the road, I\u2019ve discovered that our very own Australia does.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Exploring and finding out what our country has to offer is one of my favourite things to do. For each place I visit, a greater appreciation for this land flourishes. I\u2019ve been fortunate enough to travel to many corners of the world and have found during these times that my favourite and most special experiences have been had here in Australia.<\/p>\n

Australia is so diverse, with scorching deserts to tropical rainforests, snowy mountains to beautiful lakes and untouched beaches to remote hills and farmland. We recently took a trip with Adventure Tours Australia who brought this image of Australia to life. From day one through to the last day of the trip, we had the pleasure of experiencing endless terrains, coastlines, townships and wildlife. Kangaroo Island<\/h3>\n

First up: Kangaroo Island<\/a>. It\u2019s hard to put into words how beautiful this unspoilt paradise truly is. I can\u2019t think of a more Aussie island than this one. From sandy desert dunes to crystal clear beaches with endless waves, koalas in the gum trees and sheep shearing sheds nestled among the barren hills, Kangaroo Island has it all. Here are a few of the most memorable experiences we had on the road:<\/p>\n

Watching the surfers cruise through glassy waves at Pennington Bay.<\/p><\/div>\n

Admiring the hundreds of seals sunbaking on the shoreline at Seal Bay Conservation Park.<\/p><\/div>\n

Pink Lake<\/h3>\n

It\u2019s crazy what you can find here in Australia while travelling along empty highways. We were on the road from South Australia and had crossed over the border into Victoria<\/a>. Out of nowhere, this beautiful Pink Lake appeared roadside. It was such an epic experience to find something so amazing when you least expect it. A vibrant pink salt-lake surrounded by paper bark trees in the middle of sunburnt land \u2013 only in Australia!<\/p>\n

The Grampians<\/h3>\n

When I thought things couldn\u2019t get any better, we arrived at The Grampians – a huge change of scenery, climate and another incredible adventure. This Victorian National Park is filled with dramatic mountain ranges and roaring waterfalls. Here are some of our favourite experiences from The Grampians:<\/p>\n

The Great Ocean Road<\/h3>\n

Iconic surf breaks along a rugged coast, ancient rainforests and sandstone gorges – The Great Ocean Ro<\/a>ad<\/a> would have to be one of the most scenic and diverse drives on the planet. We were lucky enough to cruise along the coast on a beautiful hot Aussie summer day, spoilt with hundreds of beaches to choose from. Here are some of the most epic experiences we had along the Great Ocean Road:<\/p>\n

\"Loch

Swimming in the calm, clear water beneath the rugged cliffs of Loch Ard Gorge.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"The

Watching the power of the ocean crash against the iconic limestone stacks – The Twelve Apostles.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Maits

Walking through the mystical and mossy rainforests at Maits Rest and seeing giant trees up to 300 years old.<\/p><\/div>\n

The people we met during our time on the road with Adventure Tours Australia were a special part of our experience. Unwinding at the end of each day with a group of like-minded travellers from all walks of life and buzzing off the daily adventures we had shared together made the trip even more memorable.<\/p>\n

This trip contributed to our love and appreciation of Australia even more. Seeing such a varied range of landscapes and scenes over five days shows just how many incredible places Australia has to offer and we are going to keep expanding our love for this land \u2013 our own backyard!<\/p>\n
