Australia<\/a> is a big old country, and at the time of writing this blog, we had travelled through every state and territory. But still we hadn\u2019t scratched the surface. How could we? A lifetime of adventure exists on this continent and no matter how hard we try, we\u2019ll always miss things along the way.<\/p>\n

And there isn\u2019t much more that can sum up its vastness than the long stretch of the Nullarbor.<\/a>\u00a0Following a map along its lines and blemishes only revealed the bigger picture: a gargantuan dot-to-dot that seemed simple from above, but much more complex on the ground. Once we looked a little closer, we found that lines quivered and dots shifted. The earth changed colour each hour and merging\u00a0landscapes forced us\u00a0to record every single thing we saw.<\/p>\n

At the beginning of two months of camping around the country, this is a leg of the journey that humbled us. The Nullarbor is a part of the world you need to be prepared for. It\u2019s also a place that every person will see differently. The Marmite (Vegemite) of Australia.\u00a0This is how we saw it. Two travellers and a beat up old Corolla named Betty.<\/p>\n
