Adventure Tours Australia Accessibility Information

At Adventure Tours Australia, we’re all about creating unforgettable, small group experiences in some of the country’s most iconic and remote landscapes. From the Red Centre to the Top End and beyond, we want every traveller to feel informed and prepared before joining us.

Dietary Requirements

We cater to most common dietary requirements including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free.

To help us plan ahead:

  • Please notify us of your dietary needs at the time of booking or no later than 48 hours prior to departure.
  • Food for the trip is purchased prior to commencement and special requirements cannot be catered for after departing.
  • For complex requirements, please reach out to our Reservations Team for personalised guidance.

LGBTQIA+ Inclusive

Adventure is for everyone. We proudly support the LGBTQIA+ community and strive to foster an inclusive, respectful environment on all our tours.

Vision & Hearing

Due to the remote and active nature of our tours, we currently do not provide specific support for guests with vision or hearing impairments. For your safety, we recommend travelling with a companion who can assist you if needed.

Mobility & Fitness

Our tours include walking, swimming, and travel in rugged environments. A reasonable level of fitness and mobility is required. Please refer to the recommended fitness level on each tour page.

Things to consider:

  • Walks may include uneven ground, rocky tracks, steps, or sandy terrain.
  • Some itineraries involve hiking or optional challenging walks.
  • Our 4WD and minibus vehicles are not wheelchair accessible and may require climbing in and out with assistance from the guide.
  • If you’re unsure about your suitability for a particular tour, please contact our team for advice.

Age Suitability

For safety reasons, children under 8 years old are not permitted on our scheduled overnight or tours (and under 5 ears old for our day tours). For families with children aged 8+, please consider:

  • The duration of the tour and time spent travelling each day.
  • The availability of facilities in remote areas.
  • Supervision during walks and swimming activities is essential.
  • We welcome private family groups and can offer custom tours for younger travellers—get in touch to learn more.

Pregnancy

Due to the nature of our tours—including long travel days, off-road conditions and limited medical facilities—we do not recommend travel beyond 28 weeks of pregnancy. If you’re in the earlier stages, please consult your healthcare provider before booking.

Discounts

Discounted rates are available for children aged 8–15 on eligible tours. Family or group rates may be available on request.
